Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony have announced the next Helldivers 2 Warbond, and this one's got a bit of a wintry kick to it.
As is usually the case with new Helldivers 2 Warbonds, this one is bringing new weapons, armor, capes, and emotes to use on your next mission. It's launching on May 9th.
First up, three new weapons are gracing Helldivers 2 with this new Warbond. The first, the AR-61 Tenderizer, is a high-powered assault rifle with a small magazine size but a whole ton of stopping power.
The SMG-72 Pummeler is, as the name suggests, an SMG, and while it packs a slower fire rate than other SMGs, it's got concussive rounds, so it should stun your enemies pretty effectively.
Finally, the Polar Patriots Warbond will offer the chance to unlock the PLAS-101 Purifier, a rather unique weapon that increases its damage the longer you hold the trigger. Don't lose your cool!
Two support weapons are being added in this Warbond: the G-13 Incendiary Impact grenade, which combines incendiary grenades with impact grenades, and the P-113 Verdict, a semi-automatic sidearm.
You can also look forward to the Motivational Shocks Booster, which jolts players out of stuns inflicted by attacks like bug acid spit. Handy for those missions in which acid bugs never seem to stop spawning.
Three new sets of armor are making their way to Helldivers 2 in this Warbond: the CW-36 Winter Warrior armor with the Serve-assisted passive boost, the CW-22 Kodiak set with the Fortified boost, and the CW-4 Arctic Ranger set.
All of this is in addition to new capes and emotes as well, allowing you to express yourself on the battlefield even more effectively (or, perhaps, just give everyone else something nice to look at once you die).
