Genshin Impact Version 4.0 is coming tomorrow introducing new characters Lyney and Lynette, and both got new trailers today.
Both trailers are of the kind that provides a glimpse at the characters' personalities (similar to the one we got recently for Lyney), but also introduce their moves while not being a full-fledged gameplay deep dive. We're probably going to get that tomorrow.
You can check out Lyney's trailer below in English, featuring the voice of Daman Mills in English. If you'd rather watch the version in Japanese, you can find it on Youtube featuring the voice of Hiro Shimono, whom you may know as Rex in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Next is the trailer for his sister Lynette, voiced in English by Anairis Quiñones. The version in Japanese starring Yu Sasahara can be enjoyed on YouTube. She previously played Rin Namiki in Kandagawa Jet Girls.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. A Nintendo Switch version has been announced a while ago, but HoYoverse hasn't said a word about it as of late.
Tomorrow, August 16, the game will be updated to version 4.0 including a brand new realm named Fontaine alongside both Lyney and Ltnette.
Freminet will be added with the event wish that will come with the second phase of the update and two more characters introduced yesterday, Neuvillette & Wriothesley, will likely come with 4.1 in a month or so.
