Ashes of Creation Cleric on Noble Warhorn

Intrepid Studios released another extensive gameplay video of its upcoming sandbox MMORPG Ashes of Creation, focusing on showcasing the Cleric archetype.

The video starts with a look at one of the many mounts of the game, the Noble Warhorn, which (as Director Steven Sharif aptly mention) is certainly a big fella. We then move on to a detailed description of the abilities the Cleric can use in battle.

Of course, since Ashes of Creation takes a rather classic approach to fantasy, the Cleric is pretty much the quintessential warrior healer as you would expect from RPG systems like D&D. It also has useful buffs, debuffs, and crowd control abilities.

We see these in action in the second part of the video, whioch showcases an incursion into a base of monsters, with the inevitable mayhem you may expect. We also get to see that (once again, as you expect from classic MMORPGs) healing generates a lot of threat, so managing that is important.

You can watch the video below.

Ashes of Creation has been in development for several years after it was funded via a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017, gathering nearly $3.3 million from almost 20,000 users.

It's Alpha 2 test is supposed to have most of the game's systems and features available to enjoy, but it doesn't have a firm release date yet. You can see more in a video showcasing a freehold and housing, another focusing on tanksanother showcasing the Story Arc System and the Tower of Carphin, one showing off the Mage archetype, and another showcasing a roaming boss battle against a massive cyclops
