Innersloth has revealed what we can expect from the 2022 Among Us roadmap. There are some big changes coming, including the ability to make friends lists, as well as extra roles, more cubes, and plenty more to look forward to if you're a fan of this social deduction game.
What can we expect from the 2022 Among Us roadmap?
The new roadmap was revealed via a post on the Among Us Steam page. As Innersloth points out, the team has already added the new Cosmicube progession system to the game, as well as 15-player support, but there's more to come. First up, friends lists and various quality-of-life updates are being worked on, and they're priority features for Innersloth. You'll soon be able to add Among Us friends to your list, but we can't guarantee they won't be the ones to backstab you in your next game.

In addition to these new features, we're also getting more additions later in the year. You'll soon be able to play using more roles, and the new Hide and Seek mode is still under development. Innersloth is also promising more cubes for you to unlock cosmetics with, as well as new collaborations. Hopefully, these will be just as curious as the Among Us BT21 collaboration we got last year. We'll likely learn more about what those collaborations will be closer to their unveiling.
What's going on in the world of Among Us?
It's a pretty good time to be an Among Us fan. The game was released on consoles in December 2021 and was the most-downloaded game on PlayStation platforms in that month. A new Among Us VR version is in development, although Innersloth hasn't revealed when we can expect to be playing it yet. What's more, there's a rather bizarre Among Us manga collaboration on the way. It'll debut in the April 2022 edition of Bessatsu CoroCoro, a manga magazine with a young audience. Given CoroCoro's other properties, you never know; a Yokai Watch collaboration could be just around the corner.

We're excited to see what else Innersloth has in the pipeline for Among Us. In the meantime, you can grab the game right now on pretty much all major platforms. It's also currently available as part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription and fully supports cross-play, so you can call your friends sus no matter what platform they're playing on. Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to clean the TechRaptor vents. Watch our backs, would you?
