The Among Us Xbox and PS5 release date has been revealed -- you'll be able to play this game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in just a couple of months. (And yes, it's coming to Xbox One and PS4 as well.)
Among Us has been doing pretty well as of late. Innersloth revealed that the game saw a 500% increase in players earlier this year when the new Airship map launched, and things got even better when 15-player lobbies finally debuted. Now, the highly popular social deduction game is finally expanding to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Among Us is Coming to Xbox Game Pass
Let's start with something that probably isn't that big of a surprise: an Among Us Xbox Game Pass launch is on the way, too. (Naturally, you can buy the game outright if you don't have an Xbox Game Pass subscription.)
The announcement was made in Innersloth's typically meme-laden fashion on the Xbox website. Of course, the game will also be making its way to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, although there's not yet any word if it will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming just yet.
Among Us PS5 Launch is Coming, too
An Among Us PS5 and PS4 launch is on the way, too. The PlayStation announcement was a little more substantial in details and notes that the game will support Crossplay, so there are no worries about leaving any of your friends behind.
Additionally, PlayStation fans will get something pretty cool: an exclusive Ratchet & Clank cosmetic, including a Ratchet outfit and a Clank Pet. It's not yet clear if Xbox is getting similar exclusive cosmetic content.

The Among Us Xbox and PS5 release date is December 14, 2021. The Among Us PS4 release date and Among Us Xbox One release date is on the same day, and the game will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch.
Also Arriving - Among Us Collector's Edition
Digital PlayStation and Xbox launch aside, a super-cool Among Us Collector's Edition has also gone live for pre-orders. These special physical packages were first revealed earlier this year. Unfortunately, the launch date for these physical editions is a bit hectic according to a press release from retailer Maximum Games.
