Today Bandai Namco released two new trailers of the upcoming JRPG Sword Art Online Last Recollection, focusing on characters and weapons.
The first trailer showcases the playable characters included in the game, and there's plenty of them, including Kirito and his friends from the real world, pretty much every relevant hero from the Human Empire of Underworld, a big group from the Dark Territory, and plenty heroines introduced in previous games.
Specifically, new ones introduced during a livestream from Japan today are Sortilena, Renly, Linel, Fizel, Eydis, Rog, Yuna, and Eiji.
The second trailer is the second of a series introducing the various weapon types available in the game.
Update 8/28: the Asian arm of Sega released English versions of the trailers.
During the livestream, we also take a look at an image from the Ritual of Bonds DLC, this time around focusing on Asuna.
Sword Art Online Last Recollection will be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on October 6, 2023.

If you missed the original announcement made back in November 2022, the game is a retelling of the Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld arc of the anime and is set in the Dark Territory of Underworld. It's also the sequel to Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris.
Recently, we learned that Hololive Vtuber Minato Aqua has been named official cheerleader for the game and will take part in its promotion.
