Splitgate has been doing extremely well. So well that the game was shut down for being too popular back in July. The release date has been delayed indefinitely, although that hasn't stopped the updates from steadily releasing. The latest Splitgate update has been released, and Spookygate is a seasonal Halloween update that gives the Splitgate main menu and stadium a full makeover. Players will also be able to earn three fan-crafted weapon skins by completing newly-added Halloween challenges through November 1.

It's not just fun and games, though: there have also been some enhancements to the way portals work, which means that they are now replaced when the same portal is shot on itself. There were also "various bug fixes" that were released with Spookygate.
As for more exciting news, there will be a professional e-sports tournament, the Splitgate Pro Series, which has a 100,000 USD purse. Spookygate content with be in the rotation for the tournament playlist. It's also important to note that the enhancements are cosmetic-only and do not affect gameplay.
