Today Spike Chunsoft released another brand-new trailer of the upcoming adventure game Master Detective Archives: Rain Code co-developed by Too Kyo Games.
The trailer focuses on the game's mechanics, narrated by the protagonists Yuma and Shinigami. It's a good chance to check out the inner workings of the investigations before the final release, which is coming in just a few days.

Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code will release on June 30, 2023, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. If you'd like to see more, you can check out a trailer showcasing the cast, another with more characters, and a third, on top of one focusing on the sinister Aaterasu Corporation.
We already know that the game will have a Standard Edition and Mysteriful Limited Edition (priced respectively at $59.99 and $109.99) and initial prints will include a voucher code for a bonus digital novel. The novel serves as a prequel and it's overseen by Kazutaka Kodaka, Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code's main scenario writer, and written by Yoichiro Koizumi.
If Kodaka-san's name rings a bell, it's because he's the creator of the Danganronpa series, and more developers of the wacky school franchise are involved in this game, including character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and composer Masafumi Takada.
