Master Detective Archive: Rain Code

Today Spike Chunsoft released another trailer of the upcoming adventure game Master Detective Archives: Rain Code co-developed by Too Kyo Games.

Following the trailer released a few weeks ago, which showcased the first batch of Master Detectives who we'll meet in the game, including Halara Nightmare, Aphex Logan, Pucci Lavmin, Vivia Twilight, and Number One.

They're members of the World Detective Organization, an agency dedicated to crack the most intricated mysteries in the world. Incidentally, this is the first time we meet Number One. As the name implies, he's the leaders of the WDO.

We also get to listen to their voice actors. Embedded below you can find the English version of the trailer, while you can also watch the Japanese version and listen to the Japanese voice actor.

Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code will release on June 30, 2023, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

The game will have a  Standard Edition and Mysteriful Limited Edition (priced respectively at $59.99 and $109.99) and initial prints will include a voucher code for a bonus digital novel. The novel serves as a prequel and it's overseen by Kazutaka Kodaka, Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code's main scenario writer, and written by Yoichiro Koizumi.

If Kodaka-san's name rings a bell, it's because he's the creator of the Danganronpa series, and more developers of the wacky school franchise are involved in this game, including character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and composer Masafumi Takada.
