We've gotten to know some of the detectives in Spike Chunsoft and Tookyo Games' upcoming Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, but now it's time to meet the sinister corporation pulling the strings of Kanai Ward. A new trailer for the game has been released showing off some pretty antagonistic-looking corporate overlords, and pre-orders for the detective thriller are now also open.

As the June release date for Master Detective Archives: Rain Code draws nearer, Spike Chunsoft and Tookyo have been revealing characters bit by bit, letting you get to know the offbeat cast of characters you'll be hanging out with if you pick the game up. The newest trailer takes things darker, though, introducing us to the Amaterasu megacorporation, which rules Kanai Ward with an iron fist.

The trailer introduces us to the sinister Peacekeepers, who crush any opposition to Amaterasu Corporation "by any means necessary". First up, we get to meet Seth Burroughs, a soft-spoken young man with a gleeful penchant for interrogation. After Seth, we see the positively terrifying Dominic Fulltank, a brute of a man with what looks to be a cyborg eye and skull plate.

Guillaume Hall is the third Peacekeeper we meet in the trailer. She's a peppy, ultraviolent young girl who'll put you in mind of Neon White's Neon Violet, as well as a fair few other anime and anime-inspired characters who fit that archetype. Finally, we meet Director Yomi Hellsmile and his assistant, Martina Electro. As you can tell, the Peacekeepers are pretty stylish individuals with some very impressive names.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch on June 30th. Pre-orders for the game are now open, and as well as the standard digital edition of the game, a Digital Deluxe Edition is also up for grabs. This gets you the game, as well as a digital art book, a soundtrack, and a season pass that adds four new substories. In addition, if you pre-order either the standard or Digital Deluxe versions of the game, you'll get access to a bonus digital novel supervised by scenario writer Kazutaka Kodaka.
