Epic has revealed a new Fortnite Futurama crossover, bringing three beloved outfits from the world of tomorrow to the popular battle royale game.
Starting today, you can get outfits for Fry, Bender, and Leela, all of which can be purchased in Futurama's Item Shop, assuming you can find some mighty spacemen of the future to show you how the shop works.
Each outfit comes with relevant accessories. Bender's comes with an Unbendable Girder pickaxe, as well as an alternate Universe 1 Bender style.
Fry, meanwhile, comes with a Giant Nutcracker pickaxe, a Universe 1 alternate style, and a Hypnotoad back bling. All glory.
Finally, Leela will also net you a Universe 1 alt style, a Solid Gold Fiddle pickaxe, and a Nibbler back bling, although whether he will pontificate on demand remains to be seen.
You can grab other Futurama-related goodies from the Item Shop as well as the aforementioned outfits. The new Planet Express glider lets you glide onto the battlefield in style, until you're torn to shreds, that is. To shreds, I say.
You'll also find a Zoidberg Scuttle emote, letting you emulate the good doctor himself and impress (or terrify) your friends.
Finally, Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun, which you can find on the battlefield, will fire an infinite supply of plasma, but it overheats quickly, so you'll have to manage its power if you want to emerge victorious.
Other additions in this update include a new Mammoth Pistol, which is a hefty weapon that uses heavy ammunition, as well as several new augments and an unvaulted Lever Action Shotgun.
This is just the latest in a long line of crossovers for Fortnite, which appears to be going for the world record when it comes to incorporating other IPs.
Other Fortnite crossovers include The Witcher, everyone's favorite webslinger Spider-Man, and even the real-world festival Coachella, plus many more.
