A new Fortnite Spider-Man collab has arrived to mark the impending release of the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The new event brings the Web-Shooter item back, only this time, it's got a brand new Miles Morales flavor to it, and there are new outfits to grab as well.

Over on the official Fortnite website, Epic breaks down everything that's new in the webslinger's latest team-up with the battle royale shooter. First up, you're getting a bevy of new Spider-Man-themed quests, which Epic says you should definitely use the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters to complete. You can find the Web-Shooters lying around the map, or you can exchange them for Bars from Spider-Gwen.

Two new outfits are also available for purchase via the Fortnite store. You can pick up a snazzy Miles Morales Spider-Man outfit, or if you prefer, you can grab the Spider-Man 2099 outfit, which will make you look like Miguel O'Hara himself. Of course, you can also just pick both up if you want to swap your look as you see fit.

The Miles Morales outfit comes complete with a masked Earth 1610 variant, as well as a portal Back Bling so you can traverse Fortnite's map in style. O'Hara's 2099 outfit, meanwhile, comes with a web cape to complete the look. Two Pickaxes are up for grabs from the store, too: a Spider-Ham mallet and a dual-wielded 928 Axes option.

Fortnite is well-known for its collaborations with various other media, and this Spider-Verse team-up is just the latest. In the past, Fortnite has brought in content from franchises as diverse as Star Wars, popular anime Attack on Titan, and, uh, Among Us.

It's all part of Fortnite's push to be a one-size-fits-all hub where you and your friends can do much more than just enter into battle royale games; the overall goal appears to be a metaverse-like environment where you can hang out with characters from your favorite franchises, check out concerts from real-life artists like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, and more.

We can only guess what's coming next for Fortnite, but you'll hear it from us as soon as we get it. In the meantime, you can play Fortnite right now on PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
