How Wizard with a Gun Crafting Works

Unlike most games of this type, Wizard with a Gun Crafting is fairly minimal. Crafting boils down to a handful of categories:

• Basic Crafting - You can Craft a simple Gun, a basic healing Potion, and Building Tools from your backpack.
• Gun Crafting - While you cannot Craft Guns, an NPC named Young Joshua can be found on the Map to make them for you.
• Bullet Crafting - Making different kinds of Bullets is essential to fighting the various enemies in the world.
• Potion Crafting - Brewing Potions will help you restore lost life and survive the elements.
• Building Crafting - Aside from Research benches and placing floor tiles, the vast majority of Building is decorative.
• Smelting/Transforming Crafting - You can convert one Resource into another, or you can Craft unique Resources using specialized workbenches such as the Cauldron or the Furnace.

You can only Craft a handful of useful items in your backpack. Otherwise, you're going to need a dedicated device such as a Loading Bench or a Potion Brewing Station to make the items you need.

How to Unlock New Crafting Recipes in Wizard with a Gun

You can unlock new Crafting Recipes in Wizard with a Gun by scanning NPCs, monsters, or objects with the First Edition, a magical tome that allows you to copy the designs of objects.

Many new items will be encountered as you play through Wizard with a Gun. The vast majority of these will be decorations, but you can also find useful Crafting stations such as the Ground Construction Research Bench.
