Final Fantasy XIV Gaia Outfit

Everyone knows that glamours are Final Fantasy XIV's true endgame, and Square Enix certainly knows how to take advantage of this fact. Today the developer released two new items in the game's cash shop that will likely make many fans scramble for their credit cards.

The first is Gaia's Attire, designed by Tetsuya Nomura himself for the popular young lady who debuted in Shadowbringers' Eden raid series. it's priced at $12 on the Final Fantasy XIV official store, and it comes with its iconic frills, ruffles, fishnet stockings, and seemingly inconvenient platform boots. If you're wondering, it can be worn only by female characters.

The second item is Gaia's massive hammer named Hyposkhesphyra, which comes in different variations to fit all jobs in the game. You can buy the whole set for $9 or each weapon type separately for $3. All of the items are eligible for gifting, in case you want to grab them for a friend.

You can check out what they look like below.

If you're not familiar with Final Fantasy XIV's Online Store, it's basically a cash shop where fans of the beloved MMORPG can be aptly nickel & dimed by Square Enix on top of the monthly subscription they already pay.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PS5, PS4, and PC. The game is one of the most popular MMORPGs on the planet, having pulled a basically miraculous recovery with its relaunch as "A Realm Reborn" in 2013 after its original release in 2010.

After its fourth expansion "Endwalker," it currently counts 27 million registered accounts worldwide. Just a few days ago, it received a brand new update numbered 6.3 and titled "Gods Revel, Lands Tremble," which included an adorable corgi miniona rather dashing Eastern-style outfit, more story both from the main scenario and sidequests, a new trial, a new 24-player raid, a new treasure hunt tier and dungeon, new furniture for our houses (and a big housing update that brought additional wards to the residentially-starved servers of the game), new mounts, minions, gear, more goodies and features for the Island Sanctuary, new hairstyles, new emotes, and much more.
