Explorer Emilie and Lego Version for Fortnite

Following yesterday's announcement of LEGO Fortnite, Epic Games is celebrating by giving players a free skin named Explorer Emilie.

Not only can the skin be acquired without spending any stars or currency in the game, but it also has a LEGO style that you'll be able to use when the new game unlocks on December 7.

Getting the skin is quite easy, and it's a good way to use your time should you get stuck in a queue while logging into the game, since the servers are rather busy today.

The servers of Fortnite were rather busy today, with widespread queues that kept players waiting to log in.

How to Unlock the Explorer Emilie Skin in Fortnite

To unlock the skin, all you need is a LEGO Insiders account and an Epic Games account. Here's what you need to do.

  1. Log into your LEGO Insiders account or create one at the official site
  2. Log into your Epic Games account and select "Apps and Accounts."
  3. Click on the Lego account and perform the link.

If you don't get the new skin immediately, don't worry. It'll be unlocked with the new game on September 7.

In other Fortnite news, today Epic Games launched the new Chapter 5 Season 1 titled "Underground" following yesterday's Big Bang live event. It comes with a new island, the inevitable new Battle Pass, gun mods, and even a running train.

You can check out the trailer below.

Among the rewards for the new Battle Pass, there is a Peter Griffin schedule from the popular cartoon Family Guy. You can see it introduced in the animated short below.

Yesterday, we learned that the super-popular OG Season will be brought back to the live servers at some point in 2024. This shouldn't be surprising, considering that the season helped the game achieve a massive 100 million players in November.

Fortnite is a free-to-play battle royale game developed by Epic Games, with the developer working hard to turn it into a full-fledged Metaverse with a variety of games and activities. It's available one way or another for pretty much every platform that can run games.
