New Tekken 8 leaks have emerged that appear to confirm the return of something akin to the classic Tekken Force gameplay mode.
If you're not up to speed, Tekken Force was a beat-'em-up game mode that made its debut in the PlayStation classic Tekken 3, subsequently being reintroduced in Tekken 4.
The mode was then revisited in expanded form in Tekken 5's Devil Within mode, as well as Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign, in which the beat-'em-up minigame essentially served as the game's main story mode.
According to screenshots posted by X user Moonsault Slayer, something similar to Tekken Force will also make an appearance in Tekken 8.
The screenshots are somewhat grainy, but they seem to depict a 3D beat-'em-up mode in which the player plays as Lars and battles G Soldiers.

Another set of leaks, posted on X by user Ultraboy, include a ton of alternate outfits for characters, including Paul Phoenix, Jun, Raven, and Jack-8, among many others.
Tekken 8 is currently set for release in January, with another closed beta test for the hotly-anticipated fighter scheduled to start on October 20th.
The game will see the return of classic fan favorite fighters like Nina Williams, Jin Kazama, and Marshall Law, as well as introducing new characters like Azucena.
As part of its online lobby system, Tekken 8 will also bring back the classic Tekken Ball mode, which was last seen in the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
If you've been drifting in and out of the Tekken 8 conversation, then you may have heard a rumor that the game will feature Denuvo DRM implementation, but don't worry; Tekken 8 boss Katsuhiro Harada has personally debunked this rumor himself.
Tekken 8 arrives on January 26th across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Our very own Robert Scarpinito previewed the game as part of a closed network test earlier this year, and according to him, it's "shaping up to be another exciting, adrenaline-fueled entry in the series".
