Today Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that its JRPG Tales of Arise achieved a new milestone in digital sales and physical shipments, 3 million copies.
The announcement was made on the series' official X (formerly Twitter) account, both in English and Japanese.
We also get a beautiful celebratory illustration by Art Director Minoru Iwamoto, portraying the game's iconic heroes and heroines.
The announcement comes as the game becomes part of Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, opening itself to an even wider audience.
Incidentally, the Japanese version of the Tweet announcing the sales milestone mentions that it has been achieved recently, so it doesn't count subscription downloads.
Producer Yusuke Tomizawa also commented on the milestone on his own X account expressing his gratitude for the support by so many people and promising to continue to work hard to "make this achievement into an important milestone that will connect the past and futures of Tales of."
Below you can also enjoy a new trailer celebrating the release on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.

Tales of Arise originally released in September 2021 and many consider it one of the best if not the best game of the series. Personally, I agree with that sentence, so I'm definitely happy to see its success. It's part of a wave of recent JRPGs that have been very successful with the public worldwide, which is also awesome to see.
