Today Bandai Namco released a new look at the upcoming story-focused DLC for its popular JRPG Tales of Arise, aptly-titled "Beyond the Dawn."
The DLC includes a large number of quests set after the game, and that's exactly what we see in the trailer, as our heroes gather once more to help rebuild.
It also comes with special costumes, and a new large dungeon, which will pose a new challenge for players.
Incidentally, an Ultimate Edition including both the game and the DLC, on top of plenty of goodies, will also be available.
The trailer can be found below, but if you haven't played the game, you really shouldn't watch it, as it includes some really large story spoilers that you really don't want to see before you have completed Tales of Arise.
Beyond the Dawn releases on November 9, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It was originally announced during the latest PlayStation State of Play broadcast.
If you're unfamiliar with Tales of Arise, the game was released in September 2021, since two years have passed since then many had given up on the possibility of DLC, but here we are.
You can also read our review of the original game, with our Robert Scarpinito giving it an enthusiastic 9 out of 10 and praising the "wonderful combat loop with engaging party members to create an epic yet personal story."
I have to say, having played the game twice, I definitely agree with his assessment.
