Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is getting new content based on the upcoming Monster Hunter movie. The collaboration, which comes on December 4th, will bring Milla Jovovich's movie character Artemis into the game and will give you the chance to embark on a new two-part Event Quest.

What is Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's new movie-themed content?

To celebrate the launch of the Monster Hunter movie on December 25th, lots of goodies are coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. A new two-part Event Quest pits you against the movie's Black Diablos monster in the first half and the Greater Rathalos in the second part. You'll need to have attained Master Rank if you want to take on this new Event Quest.

If you manage to succeed in the new Event Quest, there's plenty of loot waiting for you. Capcom says you can get your hands on unique gear, layered armor, and adornments like new titles, a new background, and new Guild Card poses. In addition to these rewards, from November 27th, everyone who plays Iceborne - regardless of whether they complete the Event Quest or not - can claim a limited-time item pack full of useful stuff. As if all of this wasn't enough, you'll also get the chance to play as Milla Jovovich's Artemis from the Monster Hunter movie.

The Monster Hunter movie debuts on December 25th. It stars Milla Jovovich as Artemis, a soldier transported to a world of monsters by a sandstorm. The movie will also feature supporting cast members Tony Jaa, TI Harris, Meagan Good, and Ron Perlman. If you're psyched to see it and can't wait that long, you can play Monster Hunter World: Iceborne right now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The new movie-themed content drops on December 4th.
