NextNinja has revealed the Halloween event that will be hosted on its mobile action RPG Muv-Luv Dimensions, dedicated to the popular Muv-Luv series.
The event will be divided into two parts and will start on October 5. It'll ultimately close down on November 2.
The title of the event is truly a mouthful: "Another World story "Beautiful Girls Transformation Into Immortals" - Deucalion's Last Day"
There certainly is a big inspiration from the Sailor Moon franchise, and the first part includes SSR Kasumi Yashiro, SSR Lise Hohenstein, and SR Katia Waldheim within its gacha, alongside an imposing black and red version of the TSF Tyope-00A Takemikazuchi.
The second part includes SSR Irisdina Bernhard and SSR Marimo Jinguuji. Those who are familiar with the original Muv-Luv will likely remember the cosplay Marimo-chan is wearing, which makes it a perfectly appropriate choice.
As for the units that you can unlock simply by playing, we're getting SR Andrew Walken in his dreamiest husbando form, alongside a SR pumpkin-colored F-4 Phantom.
The missions will also feature themed BETA as enemies, and you can watch the trailer of the event below.
On top of the Halloween event, we're also getting Kei Ayamine's route in the Probability Spacetime feature, alongside her SSR unit in cadet fortified suit.
The update on October 5 will also include a time attack leaderboard and the battle repeat function for stages that don't have the strategy part.
The developers are also planning to add a new tower-type "Hive" quest in November. Last, but not least, during the announcement livestream we got to see more of the upcoming third-person battle camera which was revealed in the previous update.
Not only it has been confirmed and refined, but it's coming with an update on October 19. For the moment, it'll be considered a beta and the developers expect to further improve it based on feedback.
For the moment, Muv-Luv Dimensions is available only in Japan for iOS and Android. We're waiting to see if it'll come west like other NextNinja games any time soon.
