Survival craft-'em-up Len's Island has received a gigantic new update. Developer Flow Studio calls the Uncharted Waters update "sequel-sized", and it is indeed bringing a huge amount of new content, including new islands, extra dungeons to explore, and lots more.
In our Len's Island preview, we praised the game's exploration but wished it had a clearer direction to offer players. The Uncharted Waters update could potentially do a lot to address that; it's adding more than 30 new islands, which use a mixture of procedural generation and hand-crafted level design to create rewarding environments to explore and survive.
Alongside those islands, new biomes have been added, alongside new "unique weather events" that should keep you on your toes. 10 new dungeons have arrived, housing "formidable bosses" that should test your combat skills, and there's a new skill tree and leveling system to enjoy so that you can tailor your character exactly as you want them.

You'll also be able to craft new gear to help you explore, as well as build new storage options with a new set of materials. Farming has been expanded with new seeds, trees, and crafting recipes, plus lots more. None of this new content will cost you a penny, assuming you've already bought the game, which ain't bad at all. It might be time to set sail for Len's Island once again.
You can grab Len's Island right now on Steam, where it's currently available for $24.99. Flow Studio says the game will be available at a 40% discount over the Steam Winter Sale period, which begins on December 22nd and lasts until January 5th. If you're looking to pick it up, that might be your best opportunity. Already picked up Len's Island and want to make the most of your time in this idyllic paradise?
