The latest Biomutant update is a big one, as it includes important features such as a FOV (Field of View) setting, an increased level cap from 50 to 100, item and loot improvements, along with a lot of other additions. These additions include more superb loot variations, a higher tier of relic and legendary weapon parts that will drop at level 50, and scrap action has been added to the loot screen. What's included in the latest Biomutant update?
There's a new HUD setting where you can now go into the Mode setting and select either Always Show or Dynamic. If you select Dynamic you'll get persistent UI elements hiding outside of combat. By default, the Always Show setting is selected.
A new Quick Menu Toggle accessibility setting can be enabled so that you don't have to hold down the corresponding input button to open quick menus. Instead, the quick menus will now open and close by tapping the corresponding button.
The narrator has been tinkered with further still, with the "Just a few moves left... make them quote." quote no longer playing all the time, and after the first time it plays it now has a random chance.
As for chance, there's now an optional lock-on target for melee combat, and you can cancel attacks by dodging, which cancels the animation. There's also a new ability where smaller enemies can throw rocks at the player when the player is mounted, and there's a fleeing behavior also added when a player is on a mount.
For NG+, there are added modifiers that will increase the difficulty after starting a NG+ game and for each time after when a NG+ is started. Aura scores not being reset and plank resources being reset are issues that have also been fixed when starting a NG+ game.

This actually pisses me off. How do you publish a game without FOV options on PC? Why is the level cap being doubled from 50 to 100? Why are important components of NG+ only being added now? Why is loot generation being fixed or improved now? Why is lock-on targeting for melee combat only being added now? Why are customers paying for an unannounced beta? Biomutant released on May 25, 2021, less than a month ago. It's not like there are so many games coming out that Biomutant couldn't have come out around now. Absolutely ridiculous.
