It's almost time for a brand new gacha in Honkai: Star Rail, which means that it's also time to take a look at the new character coming with it.
Said new character is Topaz, Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department of the Interastral Peace Corporation, at the helm of the Special Debts Picket Team. Yes. She definitely sounds like a handful.
She's accompanied by her Warp Trotter Numby, who is basically part of the character.
Topaz will launch with the "Sunset Clause" event warp, which will be active between October 27 and November 14. It's the second event warp of version 1.4 following Jingliu, for whom I failed the 50/50, so I'm very sad.
She's voiced by Sam Slade in English and Yoshino Nanjo in Japanese, whom you may know for her roles as Krile in Final Fantasy XIV and Eli Ayase in the Love Live! School Idol Project series.
She's a five-star fire element character following the path of the hunt, which definitely sounds fitting to her job as a debt collector.

Honkai: Star Rail is currently available for PS5, PC, iOS, and Android. It's a free-to-play turn-based RPG with a rather extensive science fiction story and equally extensive optional microtransactions. The developers have to make money somehow, after all.
