Halo Infinite playlists will be changing for the better in the coming weeks. Best of all, 343 Industries plans to roll out some new Halo playlists before the holidays.

Gamers have been enjoying the free-to-play Halo Infinite multiplayer for a little while now. While there have been some issues with desync and the XP grind, 343 Industries has proven to be responsive to these problems, most recently giving XP progression a second much-needed boost. Things are about to get even better: 343 has laid out its plans to improve Halo Infinite playlists.

How Halo Infinite Playlists Are Changing for the Better

343 Industries has been well aware of feedback regarding the current Halo Infinite playlists. That's precisely why it has plans to improve them for the better.

"We've been reading your feedback, and we're working on plans to add Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All playlists as we speak," read a Twitter thread from 343 Industries Community Manager John Junyszek (via Reddit). "They won't land by Dec 8, but the team is pushing to get them in before the end of [the] year[.]"

According to John Junyszek, the immediate plans are to add these three new playlists to the game to give players a little more variety in their Halo multiplayer experience. Going forward, it will use Events to test out new game modes before adding them to playlists. All the while, 343 will monitor the health of the playlists to see which ones are attracting the attention of the playerbase.

That's not all, though -- a "Social Slayer" playlist with multiple variations is also in the works; Junyszek says that this is the request that the team sees the most. Unfortunately, this particular playlist won't be ready to go until after the holidays.

It's good to hear that 343 is being so responsive to its community's concerns. While it will be a little while before you can enjoy these new Halo Infinite playlists, there's still plenty of fun to be had in the game -- you can play Halo Infinite multiplayer for free right now on PC and Xbox via its official website.

What do you think of 343's plans to improve Halo Infinite playlists? What playlist would you like to see added to the game most? Let us know in the comments below!
