While Halo Infinite already launched its Season 4 titled "Infection" a few days ago, 343 Industries has one more surprise for the fans in terms of maps.
Tomorrow, a new multiplayer map titled "Solitude" launches in the game, but it isn't entirely new. It's basically a remake of the popular Plaza map from Halo 5: Guardians.
It's worth mentioning that the map is geometrically very similar, but the theme has been changed to keep things fresh.
The developer released a trailer showing off its work on Solitude, including environments that will certainly prove familiar to fans of the franchise.
Halo Infinite is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, including Game Pass.
Recently, 343 Industries has publicly committed to continuing its work on the Halo series following the departure of former studio head Bonnie Ross after 15 years at the helm, and after having reportedly been hit by layoffs during a sweeping round of redundancies that resulted in the termination of approximately 10,000 positions at Microsoft.
If you want to learn more about Season 4, you can take a look at a recent trailer showcasing more maps (Scarr and Forest). Another trailer also showcased more new elements introduced in the new season, including the "Infection" mode that gives it its name.
