Today Guilty Gear - Strive- developer Arc System Works released a new video showcasing Asuka R#'s gameplay and how he fights.
Asuka R# (also known as Asuka R. Kreuz) was revealed officially yesterday and fights using magic, so you have to keep track of his mana gauge. He also can "load" different spells by changing between test cases. He's definitely a very different character from what I've seen in most fighting games.
Ultimately... He's pretty crazy. I'm actually quite curious to see what fighting game veterans will make of him when he'll be released on May 25.
We already know that Asuka R# is the fourth and final character coming to the second season pass following Bridget, Sin Kiske, and Bedman?. A third season pass is in development and is coming down the line.
Guilty Gear -Strive- was originally released for PS5, PS4, and PC, and Arc System World added Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, including a launch on Xbox Game Pass, just a few weeks ago.
