Elphelt Valentine in New Guilty Gear -Strive-

Every major industry event has its share of leaks, and The Game Awards is no exception, enter Guilty Gear -Strive-'s new DLC character, Elphelt Valentine.

The leak comes courtesy of the Asian branch of Bandai Namco Entertainment, which publishes the game in the region (alongside Europe).

We already knew that the character was going to be announced this evening at the TGA, but we won't need to wait to know more about Elphelt's implementation and more, albeit the trailer isn't available yet. We'll add it to this article when it gets officially released. (Update: it has been released and you can watch it below alongside her starter guide video).

On top of the reveal, we also learn that Elphelt will be launched during the show, so when you see the official announcement on stage, you'll likely be able to download her right away.

She also won't be the only thing that you'll be able to download this evening, as an update will release at the same time bringing forth balance adjustment across the board and new special moves for Axl Low and Potemkin.

We also hear that a new mode named "Team of 3" will be released in 2024, pitching two teams of three players against each other

Elphelt is the second character of Guilty Gear -Strive-'s Season Pass 3, following Johnny. Two more unannounced characters will be released in 2024. This follows a popular Season Pass 2, which culminated with the release of Asuka R#, also known as Asuka R. Kreuz.
