Today Cygames released a new trailer of its upcoming fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, also revealing another new character.
The trailer, which was broadcasted during the final round of the Granblue Fantasy: Versus tournament at EVO Japan 2023 hosted at the Tokyo Big Sight venue, provides an introduction to the game and keeps the best for last, the reveal of Siegfried as a new playable character.
We also hear that an online beta test is coming in May, but only for PS4 and PS5.

Siegfried is the second new character revealed for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising following the Divine General Anila, who was revealed during Granblue Fantasy Fest a couple of months ago. As usual, today we only get a tease, while his gameplay will be revealed at a later date. This is par for the course as Cygames tends to introduce new characters in two different trailers.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is releasing worldwide for PS5, PS4, and PC in 2023. If you'd like to see more, you can enjoy the original reveal and previous screenshots and details.
If you're unfamiliar with Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, it's a relaunch if Granblue Fantasy: Versus, which was originally released in February 2020. On top of new characters, it will also include new mechanics. Like its predecessor, it's developed by Arc System Works for Cygames.
