At the Xbox E3 2022 showcase, Grounded was revealed to officially be moving from the preview stages into the full game, complete with upgradable armor, weapons, and a full story mode. The Grounded release window is September 2022, and the game will be available on consoles, PC, and the cloud via Game Pass.
If you've played Grounded already, you know the challenges of surviving as an extreme shrunken-down character while going up against the hazards that exist just in your backyard: insects, obstacles, and more. Many players have had the opportunity to play Grounded to get a feel of what this surreal game is like. If you've enjoyed the Grounded gameplay and want to dive deeper into the lore of this world, you'll be able to dive in and survive the yard when the preview updates to the full game in September.
In the full version of Grounded, you'll have access to the entire yard, expanding the world that's available for you to explore. You'll also be able to build base defenses to protect yourself from insect swarms, discover wild biomes, craft new materials, battle huge bosses and upgrade your armor to help keep your character alive.
