Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced a brand new Gran Turismo 7 update, and it's introducing three new cars, including one that's legendary among fans of Le Mans.
Per a PlayStation Blog announcement post, the new update, which launches tomorrow (or later today, depending on your timezone), will bring cars from Audi, Lamborghini, and Toyota.
First up, the Audi R8 Coupe V10 plus '16 brings a touch of sleek class to Gran Turismo 7. This is the second-generation model of the car that was introduced in 2016, as the name suggests.

Your second new car is the Lamborghini Urus '18, which, as once again suggested by the name, was originally produced in 2018.
According to Sony and Polyphony Digital, this car was made as a response to a "global SUV boom" around that time, and so it combines Lamborghini's signature sharp and edgy design with the bulk of an SUV.

Finally, the third new car being added as part of Gran Turismo 7 update 1.44 is the Toyota GT-One TS020 '99, which famously achieved victory at Le Mans.
It's an endurance car with a sleek body and long-arm suspension, and if you're a fan of reliving racing glories from the past, it'll provide the perfect way to do so.

As well as the three new cars, you're also getting some new World Circuits events, new livery stickers based on the anime Highspeed Etoile, and a new featured Curation in Scapes.
Gran Turismo 7 is the latest in the long-running Gran Turismo series of racing games. It launched in March 2022 and has received a number of updates since its release, bringing lots of new cars and plenty of gameplay tweaks.
In December last year, Sony and Polyphony Digital also teamed up with fashion house Bulgari to create a brand new concept car for the game, so between that and the recent Gran Turismo movie, it's fair to say this is a series with plenty of influence outside gaming.
You can grab Gran Turismo 7 right now on PlayStation. Update 1.44 launches tonight at 11pm Pacific (that's tomorrow morning at 2am Eastern).
