Genshin Impact Kaveh

Today Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse released a brand new trailer for an upcoming character who will soon debut in the game's gacha.

This time around we meet Kaveh, a 4-star character who will debut in two event wishes on May 2. The first will be together with the other new character Baizhu, while the second will pair him with Ganyu. Both banners will also feature Candace and Fischl.

Kaveh is voiced in English by Ben Balmaceda, while his Japanese voice is the popular Yuma Uchida, who plays Clive Rosfield in his young years in Final Fantasy XVI, G'raha Tia in Final Fantasy XIV, Rock Howard in the latest The King of Fighters games, and many more roles.

You can check out the English version below, while the Japanese version is available on the official channel

If you're curious, here's a blurb about Kaveh.

"Drafting blueprints, designing models, and refining proposals... These matters demand the greatest expenditures of effort and thought from an architect. But to Kaveh, they are also things that can calm his heart and distract him from his frustrations."

If you're unfamiliar with Genshin Impact, it's currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. A Nintendo Switch version has been announced a long time ago, but HoYoverse has gone under the radar with it and has not said anything since despite confirming multiple times that it hasn't been canceled. We'll have to wait and see if 2023 will finally be the year of Genshin on Nintendo's console.

At the moment, the game is on version 3.6, but we already know one of the characters who will likely come within the cycle of the next major update, Kirara.
