Today Square Enix released a new gallery of Final Fantasy XIV screenshots providing a look at the content including in update 6.51.
The update will be released on October 31, and it'll also include the previously-announced Fall Guys crossover which will add a full-fledged themed minigame to the Gold Saucer.
Today's screenshots show both the minigame and its prizes among other things.
On top of the Fall Guys crossover, we also take a look at two new mounts, a new emote, a new umbrella fashion accessory, the new Crystalline Conflict arena, the new variant and criterion dungeon Aloalo Island, and the new chapter of the Splendorous Tools quest.
You can check them all out in the gallery below.
If you're not familiar with Final Fantasy XIV, it's currently out for PS5, PS4, PC (including both Steam and the original standalone client), and Mac, while a brand new version for Xbox Series X|S is coming next year with an open beta starting on January.
Speaking of crossover, we're also waiting for one with Final Fantasy XVI, which will come soon and has been confirmed recently. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida also kind of teased that it may not be the last.
Of course, the big content influx will come next summer with the upcoming Dawntrail expansion, for which Square Enix has just announced a new dual-wielding job named "Viper" and a lot of new details, which you can read in our dedicated article from the Fan Festival in London hosted last weekend.
The expansion will also be accompanied by a sizable graphical upgrade that will spruce up both characters and environments considerably. Several promising (albeit explicitly non-final) comparisons have also been showcased at Fan Festival.
