Square Enix is continuing to share more details about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake sequel Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, this time focusing on the music.
Singned by music supervisor Keiji Kawamori, we get another post on the game's official Twitter account, promising many new tracks and some new arrangements of music from the previous game.
Q: Will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have new original music?
A: Many new tracks have been created for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and we will be making some new arrangements of tracks from Final Fantasy VII Remake as well.
This is the sixth bit of info provided by Square Enix over the past few days, after the mention that development is going smoothly and that the developers are working on determining a release date. Then the publisher provided more details about the game's world, the story, about the ability to enjoy Rebirth without playing the first game, and about party interaction.
If you're not familiar with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, it's the second title of what is supposed to be a trilogy started with the Final Fantasy VII Remake. It was officially revealed almost exactly a year ago with a rather trippy trailer that most definitely brought up more questions for the fans than it answered. The game will come to PS5 in winter 2023.
