Today Square Enix released a new update for its beloved JRPG Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

The patch is fairly sizable and brings to the table a variety of bug fixes, improvements (including the visuals), and even features.

Players will likely appreciate the addition of difficulty levels to two popular minigames, on top of further control on the looks of the Performance Mode.

  • Fixed a progress bug that occurred under certain conditions during quests.
  • Improved frame rate and overall game stability.
  • Added "Sharp" and "Soft" options to the Performance Mode setting.

  • The camera's inverted setting is now applied to the shooting minigame.
  • Enhanced support while climbing the ivy at the Mithril Mine location.
