Q: What are some of the key things to look forward to in the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth story?
A: Players will witness a chain of narrative developments that lie at the very heart of the Final Fantasy VII story while discovering each character's destiny.
Recently, Square Enix announced that development is going smoothly and that the developers are working on determining a release date. Then, yesterday, the publisher provided more details about the game's world. This appears to be part of a series of reveals, which means that we might get more information in the following days.
If you're not familiar with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, it's the second title of what is supposed to be a trilogy started with the Final Fantasy VII Remake. The game will come to PS5 in winter 2023.
Before that happens, we're going get the release of Final Fantasy XVI, which is coming for PS5 on June 22. If you'd like to learn more, you can read my preview and enjoy our interview with producer Naoki Yoshida and art director Hiroshi Minagawa.
