This week's batch of free games, Moonlighter and This War of Mine, are available to grab for free on the Epic Games Store right now, up until August 2nd. With every new batch of free games comes the announcement of the next. Next week, you can grab one of Remedy's most popular games, as well as a multiplayer title from Ubisoft.
Alan Wake and For Honor will be free on the Epic Games Store from August 2nd to August 9th. To claim these games, all you need to do is go to the Epic Game's Store website or desktop launcher and find the free games at the top of the store. Claim them, and they will be yours forever, free of charge.
If you like your games dark and spooky, Alan Wake is a good choice. Developed by Remedy Entertainment and originally released in 2010, you take the role of the eponymous author who arrives in the town of Bright Falls, only to find supernatural horrors waiting for him. Armed with your trusty flashlight and firearm, dive deep into this episodic thriller.
This version of Alan Wake includes two special episodes called "The Signal" and "The Writer," as well as features graphical options such as higher aspect ratios and keybinding.
For Honor is the other free title coming next week. This ongoing multiplayer brawler features several different factions. Players take the role of a warrior with different weapons and abilities, as you fight against other players in castle sieges and objective-based game modes. It also includes a single-player with a story. Currently, For Honor in Year 3 Season 3, with a new playable character coming out on August 1st.
Grab the two latest free games - Moonlighter and This War of Mine - for free right now until August 2nd. Next week, you'll get Alan Wake and For Honor, free from August 2nd to August 9th.
