A bunch of Moonlighter: Between Dimensions free content has arrived. While 11 bit studios and Digital Sun are certainly hoping that people will pick up their newest DLC, they also wanted to thank their fans by giving them some new goodies to play with.

Moonlighter is a game very much in the vein of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale but leaning more heavily towards the combat side of the game as opposed to the item-selling side. Players take on the role of a shopkeeper who dives into dungeons, retrieves various artifacts, and sells them to pay for upgrades to his gear, shop, and the town overall. The Between Dimensions DLC adds a new dungeon and a few other features for players to enjoy — and some of those are being made available for everyone according to a news post on the game's Steam Community page.

The shop is getting several new pieces of content. A new thief, the "indecisive customer", and a bird will liven up the shopping experience a bit. Four new baby slime companions will give you an adorable edge in battle. Finally, the basic rings and amulets (previously only available in New Game +) are now available in your first playthrough. Bear in mind that this bit of Moonlighter: Between Dimensions free content does not include the new rings and amulets from the DLC.

This free content is available right now to anyone who owns the base version of the game on PC. In the meantime, you can grab Moonlighter – Between Dimensions on Steam at a price of $6.99 or your regional equivalent. If you'd like to pick up Moonlighter, you can get it for PC/Mac/Linux on Steam, the Humble StoreGOGGreen Man Gaming, and Fanatical. Console gamers can get it on the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One, the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch.

Disclosure: Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, and Humble Bundle work with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from some links in this article. In addition, GOG provides a monthly giveaway to our Pack Hunter members.
