Blizzard has announced a new Diablo 4 season. It's scheduled to start next week and will bring new quests, new dungeons to delve into, and much more.

Season of the Construct will be the third major Diablo 4 season, following on from October's Season of Blood and July's Season of the Malignant. It's kicking off on January 23rd.

This time around, you'll be heading below the deserts of Kehjistan in order to thwart the schemes of the demon Malphas, which will form the backbone of a new questline you'll undertake alongside Zoltun's former companion Ayuzhan.

Diablo 4's Season of the Construct gives you a brand new companion to fight alongside you.

A new staging ground will become available to you when you start the seasonal questline: Gatehall, an underground location you'll use to access new dungeons and eventually travel to the Loom.

As part of Diablo 4's Season of the Construct questline, you'll gain access to a Seneschal Companion, which can be adjusted to fit your playstyle.

In order to build and augment your companion, you'll need to delve into Vaults, a new kind of dungeon with plenty of hazards to avoid and monsters to slay.

Upon reaching World Tier III, you'll unlock Nightmare Vaults, even harder variations of the Vaults that function similar to Nightmare Dungeons.

Later on in the season, a weekly dungeon called The Gauntlet will be added, allowing you to demonstrate your skills to your fellow Diablo 4 players.

This dungeon will come complete with a leaderboard, and if you manage to reach the top, you'll gain a place in the hallowed Hall of the Ancients.

Of course, the season will also come with plenty of quality-of-life improvements and gameplay tweaks, including the ability to move on PC using the WASD keys and more.

Diablo 4 is available right now for PC via both Steam and Battle.net, as well as PlayStation consoles and Xbox platforms. A brand new expansion for the game, titled Vessel of Hatred, is scheduled to launch in late 2024.
