Tome V

Developer and publisher Behaviour Interactive Inc. has launched the newest patch, Tome V, Unleashed, for Dead By Daylight. This Tome has players unlocking memories For The Hillbilly, Nea Karlsson, and The Blight. The Blight's story is explored more deeply as players finally gain access to the conclusion of the Hallowed Blight Storyline event from 2018, as well as previous Hallowed Blight lore content.

A new Halloween-themed challenge is being introduced, a first for the game since The Archives has been introduced. Players will interact with Pustula Plants, and once selected in the Auris Web, players must work with the plants in order to complete the challenge. Within Tome V, players will be able to earn 4 always growing Pustula Plants Charms across 4 different levels. If that's your thing, players will also be able to enjoy a 30% off the Auric Cells price on characters Adam Francis and The Clown between October 21 and October 28.

There's also a new collection added to the in-game store called Hallowed Curse, which includes the set called Scorched Ghost Face. Available exclusively in the Rift is The Ruffian outfit for David King as well. Players will be able to get these two add-ons by joining in the Rift. The community-inspired Never Stop Slashing outfit will also be available through the free track, while the Unleashed Collection is on the premium track.

Between today and November 4, players will be able to play a Halloween in-game event called The Eternal Blight, an event that features new Survivor and Killer add-ons, including the universal Killer add-on. Blight Serum, a new chemical compound, allows Killers to use a power called Blighted Rush after hooking Survivors. Players can also acquire 4 Halloween-themed charms and outfits that are on sale in the in-game store.

Finally, there's a major graphical update that is free to all players on all platforms. In this patch, the MacMillan Estate and all five of its maps have been completely overhauled, making a gloomy map even gloomier.

Dead by Daylight is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases are forthcoming.
