With the release of the new expansion Land of the Morning Light, Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss is taking the chance to boast about the game's visuals.
The Land of the Morning Light is inspired by the landscapes and culture of Korea, so it's not surprising that the good folks at Pearl Abyss (which is a Korean developer) went all out in depicting the beauty of their home country.,
The trailer, which you can enjoy below, compares several locations of the expansion with some of the most beautiful spots in South Korea. Despite having launched all the way in 2015 and being eight years old, Black Desert is certainly still one of the leaders in visual glitz among MMORPGs, even thanks to a visual "remaster" which happened in 2018. It also combines its beauty with an extensive seamless open world.
The Land of the Morning Light is already available in the game, so you can check it out with your own eyes if you're a player.
If you're unfamiliar with Black Desert Online, it's a long-running MMORPG currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 (with the console versions simply called Black Desert). A version for smart devices titled Black Desert Mobile also exists, but its progression is somewhat separate.
Recently, Pearl Abyss shared plenty of information about upcoming content and features during the Black Desert Festa event in Korea.
