Today Pearl Abyss hosted its Black Desert Festa event in Korea, and plenty of news was shared about the popular MMORPG Black Desert Online.

One of the biggest reveals is War of the Roses, a massive war between elves pitching the forces of Kamasylvia against Odyllita in a massive battlefield that will pitch up to 300 players against 300, split into two faction.

The factions will have to capture Sanctums, some of which will have special rules, until they can push the tide to conquer the main enemy castle. There will also be sea battles using cannons and a tactical map that will let you see the current situation of the war.

We also learn about another new region named "Noble Land Ulu Kita" located close to Mediah. You can take a look in the video below at the 00:39:14 mark. It'll come on the Korean servers on August 9.

It'll be an area dedicated to high-level adventurers with four monster zones. Today the developers introduced the "City of the Dead" and the "Tungrad Ruins."

The event also showcased the awakening of the Maegu class, which is coming on July 5. Incidentally, no new class was revealed this time around, as the developers want to focus on the many existing classes for the moment. The nxt new class will come in the winter.

We then get a teaser of the summer event, the Sea Palace. Of course, there will be summer outfits and we're even getting swimsuits.

If you're unfamiliar with Black Desert Online, it's a long-running MMORPG currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 (with the console versions simply called Black Desert). A version for smart devices titled Black Desert Mobile also exists, but its progression is somewhat separate.
