While the hierarchy of power in the DC universe may have recently changed, it won't in MultiVersus, as news of a Black Adam MultiVersus delay has just been announced. To make matters worse, the official MultiVersus Twitter account announcement says that the Gods are to blame and the hierarchy of MultiVersus isn't ready to change. The Gods are always to blame in Black Adam, so nothing has really changed there, eh?
Unfortunately, it looks as though that MultiVersus delays are becoming a bit of a pattern. Back in August, news broke that both MultiVersus Season 1 and Morty were delayed, although they were only delayed for a few weeks, which isn't so bad. Will the Black Adam MultiVersus delay take longer? Who knows.
Recently, the MultiVersus Halloween Event was released, bringing with it two skins, an emote, and a profile picture to earn. Apparently, it would take over 800 games to get those things, which is nuts. I personally wouldn't want to play that many games to get any of those things, but what do I know? I'm not part of the MultiVersus hierarchy, after all. The event will run until November 15th, so we might not see Black Adam until after that. We'll have to see.
As for what exactly MultiVersus is, it's a free-to-play platform fighter that will let players fight as Shaggy, Batman, Wonder Woman, Tom and Jerry, and many more famous Warner Bros characters. Players will battle on maps that include Batman's Batcave and Finn's Treefort in 1v1, 4-player Free For All, and 2v2 team battles. The platform fighter includes full cross-platform play and progression, which means you won't have to worry about not being able to battle alongside your friends. You can also customize your own perk loadout, which can change how your character is played and how they synergize with their teammates.
