While the MultiVersus Season 2 battle pass might not be the most exciting addition to the game, it should be a welcome addition for anyone still playing Player First Games' fighter. There are now no tiers without rewards, which is great, and the number of points to complete each tier has been tuned, so the MultiVersus Season 2 Battle Pass should feel more engaging and rewarding than Season 1's Battle Pass.

The rest of the MultiVersus Season 2 patch notes aren't bad, but they won't set the world on fire either. For instance, you can now equip up to 3 badges to show them off, and the MultiVersus in-game store is now open, which means all the cosmetics and characters can now be found in one place for your purchasing pleasure. An interesting tidbit has "network traffic optimizations and Multi-Path Traffic Acceleration" being added to the game, which means that the online experience should be improved for everyone. Given that this is a fighter, that's a very good thing.

MultiVersus should now be a less annoying to play.

MultiVersus Season 1 has been out for a few months, so it's about time that we get a new season. Don't expect any earth-shattering balance changes though. A casual perusal of the patch notes reveals that while characters are receiving changes, there are lot more fixes than actual changes to how characters play. For example, Batman (RIP Kevin Conroy), has his glide, grounded down attack, and aerial down special fixed up to make the character play better. Still, his signature perk and aerial slide attack have been altered, which does change how he plays a touch, but there's nothing that's truly radical.

Other than that, there are some maps receiving some changes, with Scooby's Mansion (No Roof) increasing the blastbox size by 10% and Space Jam now keeping score of baskets mode, which is pretty cool. The tutorial has been simplified, which should get you into the battle faster, and some new cosmetics along with Big Head Mode add some zany fun to the game.

The game that received The Game Awards 2022 nominations for best multiplayer game and best fighter is only getting better and better, so for more information on MultiVersus, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
