Bandai Namco hosted a new showcase focused on Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, showcasing plenty of gameplay.
We start with an early mission, and a segment showing off some combat against normal enemies, followed by a boss battle. Here you see how changing the components of your Armored Core can be effective in tackling difficult challenges.
We then move on to another feature of the game, PvP, and specifically a series of several battles between two three-player teams on different maps. Lastly, we also get a 1 vs. 1 match.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will launch worldwide on August 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. This is a big return for the storied mecha franchise, which has been dormant for several years while FromSoftware focused on the Souls franchise and similar action RPGs.
The game was announced in December 2022 at The Game Awards, and a while ago we heard more details from producer Yatsutaka Ogura about a variety of topics including difficulty, mech customization, action, and online elements. We also saw another trailer and took a look at more awesome gameplay, on top of the story trailer which was released just a few weeks ago.
Of course, you should go ahead and read our hands-on preview, in which our Erren Van Duine mentions that Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon "is shaping up to be another FromSoftware hit."
