Today Bandai Namco released a brand new trailer of FromSoftware's upcoming mecha game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
The trailer, labeled "story trailer," is perhaps a bit closer to providing the context for the story, set on Rubicon 3. We get a glimpse at an enhanced human being awakened as an extremely dangerous mission is being performed somewhere else.
Of course, we get to see some cinematic mecha action, which is definitely suitable to FromSoftware's storied franchise.
You can watch it below. The version embedded is with English voice-overs. If you'd rather hear them in Japanese, you can find that version on the official YouTube channel.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will launch worldwide on August 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It'll mark a big return of the series, which has been dormant for several years while FromSoftware dedicated itself to the Souls franchise and similar action-RPGs.
The game was announced in December 2022 at The Game Awards, and recently we heard more details from producer Yatsutaka Ogura about a variety of topics including difficulty, mech customization, action, and online elements. We also saw another trailer and take a look at plenty of awesome gameplay. Lastly, we learned that Kotobukiya will release a dedicated plastic model kit.
