The Among Us Birthday Update is here, finally launching 15 player lobbies, six new colors, and — perhaps most importantly — the ability to honk the horn on the Airship map.

Among Us is a devious social deduction game where you and your Crewmates have to accomplish a series of tasks, ultimately working towards an overall goal such as repairing a spaceship. However, a handful of your Crewmates are secretly "Imposters" and have a different objective: they have to kill all of the Crewmates without getting chucked out the airlock. It's pretty fun, and now there's even more to do in the game right now!

What's New in the Among Us Birthday Update?

The first notable addition in the Among Us Birthday Update is the debut of 15 player lobbies. If you've been wondering what Among Us would be like with a few more people, you can now go right ahead and find out. Be careful, though — extra Crewmates also means there could be extra Imposters in the mix!

Also arriving today are six new colors: Banana, Coral, Gray, Maroon, Rose, and Tan. You're going to need them for all these extra players, especially when you're trying to figure out who died between rounds on the new kill screen meeting menu.

Mobile controller support and the ever-important ability to honk the Airship's horn are part of today's Among Us update as well; you can read about all of the fine details in the full Among Us Birthday Update patch notes.

The Among Us Roadmap Has Been Updated

Aside from the Among Us Birthday Update, Innersloth has also updated the Among Us Roadmap to give us a better idea of what new content we can expect in the coming months.

Some of the items on the Among Us Roadmap are already here (such as 15 player lobbies). Other features aren't here just yet, but they're certainly promising. These include Map 5, console release dates for PlayStation and Xbox, visor cosmetics, a new "Hide n' Seek" game mode, and more.

You can check out the newest version of the Among Us Roadmap to get an idea of what's on the way. If you haven't yet played this great game, you can buy Among Us for PC, consoles, and mobile via its official website for just $4.99 or your regional equivalent.

What do you think of the new content arriving in the Among Us Birthday Update? Which future content do you think the developers should prioritize first? Let us know in the comments below!
