Mundaun feels like the labor of love sole developer Michel Ziegler describes it as. Its lack of polish contributes to a palpable atmosphere--one whose cultural touchstones are rarely seen in gaming. It's a worthwhile four to seven hour adventure.

Can’t Drive This takes the typical driving game and twists it into this insane, chaotic, ultra-fun couch co-op that honestly makes me wonder where this game has been all my life. The gameplay is simple—one player builds the road while the other drives—but it’s guaranteed to demand all of your time and effort, so be prepared to laugh (or fight) with your family and friends for hours on end.

The pulp, retro aesthetic and themes of The Outer Worlds is a prime setting for a good ol' murder mystery, and what do you know? The second and final DLC for Obsidian's RPG, Murder on Eridanos, provides just that. Gnosia is a unique new entry into the "social deduction" genre in which the player must identify which crew members have become shapeshifting aliens - and then go through it again in a series of time loops until the true mystery can be solved at last.

My opinion from 2013 remains relatively unchanged—Super Mario 3D World is a fun and buttery smooth, if a bit generic experience as far as Mario games go. Bowser's Fury, on the other hand, makes up for this experience by offering a fresh, challenging and frantic experience featuring a beefed up and very angry version of Bowser.

Playing Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption is like curling up in front of a fire with a good book: you give yourself to the story. Bugs and obtuse puzzles aren't enough to detract from what's a unique and thoroughly entertaining experience.

Destruction AllStars is a fantastic PlayStation Plus offering with a ton of fun to be had. Two of its game modes are fantastic fun, and it's characters are vibrant and full of life. The microtransactions and lack of content make it a hard sell if it weren't for it being free right now, but it'll hopefully be adjusted in the future.
