Free RPG Day has come again. Once more, the tabletop game industry and community has come together to help bring new people into the hobby. This event will be held across all participating retail stores, where free quickstart rules for RPGs will be given away to any and all who arrive. Not only is this event great for veteran TTRPG players that want to try something new, but for people who have never gotten into tabletop gaming before. Here is a list of what you can experience during Free RPG Day 2023.
Samples and Adventures coming to Free RPG Day 2023
This year, Free RPG Day 2023 will be held Saturday, June 24 in the United States. Like past years, these events are done in collaboration with major tabletop publishers, developers, and local game stores to help bring new players into trying out different tabletop RPGs. To this end, small quickstart books are distributed, usually containing a small adventure or scenario. Those different adventures are as follows:

- An Animal Adventures Faraway Sea module by Steamforged Games
- Quickstart Rules for Avatar Legends: Movers and Shakers and the Hacksaw Dell clearing for Root: The RPG by Magpie Games
- A Taste of the Moon Chronicle for Vampire: The Masquerade V5 and Cobra/Con Fusion, an Essence20 crossover adventure for GI Joe and Transformers by Renegade Game Studios
- Level 1: Indie RPG Anthology and Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying Introduction by 9th Level Games
- Quickstart rules for Dragonbane by Free League Publishing
- The Adventures in Rokugan module Storm Eel's Rest by Edge Studio
- Quickstart rules for Heckin' Good Doggos by We Think Games
