Dimension 20, the anthology TTRPG series part of Dropout.tv, has just dropped their latest season trailer about a family of Stoats who have to face the world's dangers. Dimension 20: Burrow's End brings Aabria Iyengar back behind the GM screen in this new Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventure.

What is Dimension 20: Burrow's End?

Burrow's End tells the story of a family of Stoats. This three-generation family tree consists of the matriarch Ava and her two daughters Tula and Viola. Also joining the family are Tula's children Joysohn and Lila, as well as Viola's husband Thorn Vale.

Imagine these snarling faces but from a family of stoats

In this story, the family of Stupendous Stoats is living a happy life in the Blue Forest. The titular Blue, of the Blue Forest, refers to a life force that seems to flow through the forest. While it might be the water that feeds the forest it's never something that simple in Dimension 20.

"We're all the Blue, the Blue's in all of us" - Tula (Brennan Lee Mulligan)

The trailer begins to paint a darker narrative of what these Stoats will be facing. Aabria narrates the flow in seasons, not just bringing the usual change but also a sense of dread. Whatever is affecting the Blue Forest is going to force the Stoat family to have to seek out a new home.

The Stouts will fight danger "in many forms be they beast, bog or betrayal." Between emotional player reactions, we're treated to flashes of full-sized bears, crooked stouts, and even magical stouts.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this might not have a happy ending…

How Many Episodes Is Dimension 20: Burrow's End?

There will be a total of 10 episodes of Dimension 20: Burrow's End. The first episode will be released on Dropout.tv on Wednesday, October 4th at 7 pm EST with new episodes airing every week.

On October 11th, one week after the premiere, that first episode will be available for free on the Dimension 20 YouTube channel.

For those of you who enjoy experiencing behind-the-scenes footage, each episode will also be accompanied by an episode of Adventuring Party. Here GM Aabria Iyengar and the Stupendous Stoats will discuss the highs and lows of each episode talking about their own character's experiences and contemplating their future.

The last time Brennan Lee Mulligan wasn't the GM behind the screen of Dimension 20 was when Critical Role's Matthew Mercer GM'd The Ravening War. At this table not only were Brennan Lee Mulligan and Aabria Iyengar players but they were also joined by Anjali Bhimani who told us about her spicy character Lady Amangeaux.
