Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

First up is the latest offering from Games Workshop for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The Stormcast Eternals will be getting some additional reinforcements with the Vanguard-Palladors and the Lord Aquilor, giving the traditionally slow and plodding army some much-needed speed and mobility. The company is also re-releasing the iconic Chaos Warrior Slambo as well for the game as a resin miniature rather than the traditional metal. Rounding out this week’s offerings is Warhammer Quest: Shadows over Hammerhall. A more traditional dungeon-crawling board game set both in and below the city of Hammerhall, players will work together to defeat the sinister plots of a Chaos Sorcerer seeking to topple the city from within. These releases are currently available for pre-order and will be released on Feburary 25th.

Warcradle Studios has announced plans for a hobby resource section for Wild West Exodus via their Facebook group, and is asking for player-generated content. The company is looking for various tutorials, gaming guides, fiction, artwork, scenarios, and potentially video battle reports as well. Submissions or questions should be sent to [email protected].

Corvus Belli have announced the March releases for Infinity. The next release wave will contain Haqqislan Hassassin Govads, Nomad Bakunin Moderators, Tohaa Sukeul Commandos, PanOceania Techn Bee, and the new Yu Jing starter pack containing all the Yu Jing miniatures from the Operation: Red Veil starter set minus the Ninja. The releases will be available on the Corvus Belli webstore and your FLGS in the coming weeks.

Privateer Press has announced the release of the Grymkin, a brand-new faction for Hordes. Drawing heavily from folklore and children’s tales, the army is a motley assortment of horrors set to be unleashed on the Iron Kingdoms in the coming months. The company released a 16-minute preview video showcasing the new army and teasing the release of The Strangelight Workshop anthology covering the backstory of the Grymkin set to be released in June. The Grymkin range is currently set to be released at this year’s Lock & Load GameFest on July 14th.

And finally, Cool Mini or Not has released a preview for the upcoming Rising Sun Kickstarter campaign, focusing on the diplomacy aspect of the game. A feudal Japan-inspired wargame, Rising Sun will also feature a robust diplomacy system allowing players to make various alliances and deals with one another throughout the length of a campaign in order to conquer all of Japan. The Kickstarter campaign for Rising Sun is set to begin on March 7th at 3PM EST. What news snippets caught your attention? What are you saving your pennies for?
